I must be the worst audience ever, in this case. But I haven't watched TV in more than twenty years. Of course, there are other ways to perform and if performance heals, it's for a good cause. Somehow, I prefer the shaman to the politicians we know. Interesting stuff!
Kind of sad to think that content matters so little in any endeavor. You are probably right though Jansen. Trouble is that I myself am more heavily weighted toward the content side of the equation. That's where something like poetry has a distinct advantage over other mediums, in that the quality of the words can be judged and found wanting if the reader has a mind.
