Surfing Current mood: groovy? Category: Writing and Poetry The water was cold, or so I was told as I slipped into it's liquid body. The swell was big, I checked out my rig and embraced it alone with nobody. As I dropped down the face at an incredible pace, my heart was beating faster. The roar of its plunder was louder than thunder; as I was in fear of impending disaster. Just as it started, I so quickly departed, unscathed to ride another. I paddled over the back and looked down at what was and smiled to my ocean brother! ��

Anything dealing with the ocean is wonderful. The vastness of it all is just beautiful as is your surfing poem.....

Having written a poem on surfing, I checked this one out and was happy that it plunged me right into the world of surfing. I could even taste the water (like the armchair surfer that I am).

being a surfing fan, had to click on this one - being in Florida I can say it's seldom as good or "cool" as this poem.
