Sequel to my earlier poem, Your Words. Seems only themes that touch me deeply inspire my poems.
Gift of Grace Drifts of sorrow and old grief, illusions abandoned, tossed. Before a love never known awakened longing, unbesought. Wistful heart soared when words of comprehending truth pierced deflective shell, evoked wonderment, yearning. Faltering, misty hope wanes for elusive dream, unexpressed. Still yet, love asks for one, only grace and favor, to be blessed.

I believe I caught three emotions in each of these stanzas. Such is our storm tossed lives.
