 Autumn © 

Autumn’s color crunches brilliant on woodland’s paths,

Displaying shades of red, rust, yellow, brown.

Autumnal scents dance on brisk breezes.

Carmel apples, cider, football, mothballed jackets’ revive.

 

Life slows,

Days shorten,

Golden leaves filter fall’s sun.

Stop.

Sit.

Listen.

Think.
