A word to bless those needing particular comfort in this season
This Christmas I know is different, but I've not left you to be alone
This Christmas I'm with Jesus, sending blessings from my new home
Yes, absent from the body and now present with the Lord
Celebrating the Christ of Christmas
the One I do adore
He s bottled every tear and taken away every pain
He only brought me home to receive eternal gain
I know this Christmas is differrnt but please dont be sad
Just be blessed by the precious memories and the wonderful time we had
fMy dear ones hold on to each other and know that in the end
Jesus is not only your Savior but LORD and very best friend
One day again together the mysteries will unfold
We will rejoice together and walk the streets of gold
In the meantime smile and remember how much I do love you
Be at peace and have a joyful heart...that"s what I want you to do
Be blessed as you share your gifts with both the young and old
Yet always remember the greatest gift of all came wrapped in swaddling clothes
This so precious a gift is available to everyone
I now can behold His face because my work is done
ForeveverI will love you and in your hearts I am always near
I'm just a thought or prayer away,my voice you'll clearly hear
This Christmas message is sent from heaven above
This message is to bless you with forever Christmas love
*** I wrote this poem for my family on the first Christmas after my mother went on to be with the Lord in 2009.
