A tough relationship and the way I felt. I hope you enjoy.

I tried to be strong but still you beat me down.

I held my head high and you pushed it to the ground

As you beat upon me as if I’m a drum

I slowly weekend and my body falls numb

Thoughts of why you are doing this to me

Rush through my head just let me be

But your fist I feel strike one strike two

That’s it I can’t I’m through

I can’t take this thing you call love

I rather live my life in a hole hemmed up

You tell me one thing and do another

So I have to get rid of you and all your clutter

One day we’re great and the next you’re mad

Not expressing it in your face all in your head

My fate I thought you we’re so sad

My destiny and now your my past

I have to move to be the real me

I can’t live like you loving the streets

My time my love and my heart were abuse and put to waste

And I’m looking you in the face

I’m standing strong again even though I’m a little week

I’m stumbling as I get back to my feet

It’s time to go and move on

I pray for the next women you call your own
