Has it been a year? The deal was over, and I grieve no more. The mask of sadness is gone, Replaced by joy and laughter I’ve waited so long to remove this mask It did not fit, I was never grieved To see it over Relieved, relieved is what I was. now that it’s over.

Sometimes we grieve a loss even when we know it was the best possible option for us. Once awakening, we realize that we shed an ill-fitting skin when we walked away from that situation and joy fills our spirit. Nicely done, Cheryl.
