Fourth coming of July
From pen marks to blood shed.
In hopes of getting rightfully led.
Our Forefathers coming together,
as this country begins for a better.
Ink dried on a piece of paper,
forges our very life that we cater.
Strong words of wisdom,
Protect our very fight of freedom.
Was it all in vain as we see,
once again our nation tested to be.
Fighting for our right to be free.
When the commotion and smoke clears,
the sound of victory is what we will hear.
For our founding fathers prayed upon a
high, as the fourth coming of July.
Cherish the words written in black ink,
As men and women provided the sovereign
link. Think back to that day of celebration
as men gathered to etch in paper our very
freedom of declaration.
