Some one’s trying to take

What’s ours

I hear the people cry

Think of all the suffering

And all of those that died

Remember the grieving loved ones

The countless tears they cried

Apparently we won the war

The apathetic people sighed

Told you we need an army

Our reliable leaders lied

Who is going to protect you

From a foe we antagonised

It really is quite simple

The truth shall be denied

War and hate is essential

You have all been hypnotised

With out a military machine

You will have to run and hide

From all the bad guys weapons

We inadvertently supplied

War is just a business

You have been taken for a ride

They beat their drums

And wave the flag

To keep you pre occupied

Don’t fall for it any more

All you people far and wide

It’s the war machine

That has the most to loose

They need to be defied

Deep down you all can feel it

True love has to survived

For it’s the future of planet

or it may never be revived
