You have honored AD authors with the love and wisdom dripping from your pen and I feel greatly pleased with your kind heart and good intentions. I have asked Gene to work together on a poem as a way of extending our efforts and not only review others works but to o write poetry with other poets at the Den. We want this initiative to start with those already honored as each pair will write one poem and continue cooperating together in the future. Your respect and love to us must trigger an initiative that shall have an impact upon the history of this Den. I advice other poets who were selected in the "honor poetry" to follow suit.

This is a very thoughtful and warm "break" from the amazing Tributes that you have shared with so many of us over the past weeks! Robert (Lance)Sheridan and I were the first to be honored, and I will never forget how special I felt. IT isn't often when another takes a moment to encourage, uplift, and give hope to others...and usually....the giver is often overlooked, yet more deserving of all!
