Just a simple pretty poem. I'm not a very good ppoet, so is about my best and only work
Walking on Water
The deep blues that lay flat before me
The purple sky
The setting sun that has a fire
Which gives the clouds a inner glowing golden light
I sit on the dock
Knowing this is a tack I can not perform
Tears that fall
Light of a setting sun
Makes them look like crystal’s falling from one’s eyes
I want to do this
I really want to
But I feel lost
Lost with out you
The tears create ripples
Creates new shades of blues within the rings
A natural beauty that can not be imitated
Tough I look out at the sun
I know I love you
I want to prove it to you
I know I’m not as
Pretty
Or
Perfect
As you want me to be
But do I really have to walk on water
To prove this to you
Hi Samie,this is a very good poem that you have written.You shouldn't say to yourself that you are not a good poet because you truly are.Poetry is a wonderful gift that everyone has on this earth.Its a talent where your words and feelings can make anybody happy and have an effect on their lives.There is nothing in this world that makes me happy then to write poetry.It feels so good to write.When a person writes a poem and when they look at the finish product,they know in their hearts that they write a good poem and its an accomplishment in terms of doing it yourself.Keep up the good work and I'll be looking forward to reading more of your poetry.Take good care of yourself and don't doubt yourself that you are not a good poet :-).
