Lonely Days

Not having you near me makes my day a little tough,
Something no one told me was this would be so rough,
I sit here today not knowing what to do,
The only thought running through my mind is that of you.

I never knew this would leave me so sad,
I long for the love and passion we once had,
The thought of you not being with me,
Frightens me to death, cant you see.

The thought of you, I will never forget,
Nor the days we spent together and the day we met,
When you left you asked a favour from me,
You asked if I would let you go, set you free,
That time will come, but now I long for you to come back to me.
