The world is my canvas 

And my imagination is the paint,

You are my inspiration-

That allows the artist to paint.

I use red for love

With blue for hope thrown in,

And with even deliberate strokes-

The masterpiece begins.

A little green for jealously

From a closely guarded heart,

And purple for passion-

And we are ready to start.

Colors of the rainbow

And a finishing touch here and there,

Then proudly displayed-

While people stop and stare.

In the center of the masterpiece

There is a portrait of you,

Because you are the center of my universe-

And there would be no color in my life without you.
