Life is full of beauty and wonder

Loves Like A Flower
By Paul McCann

I love a little rose so delicate
and as far as I can see
she’s wild and beautiful
as wild as wild can be .
I suppose no other rose
could expose a beauty
so naturally .
I walk through the cold streets
looking for space
with a smile upon my face
There are people in bars
and in ivory towers ,
drinking after hours ,
princes and rouges ,
all of the would be Kings of ours
ladies in vogue ,
Queens without thrones ,
little flowers who are not afraid to show themselves everyday
Loves a flower
not afraid if petals fall
or colours fade away .
I love a rose so beautiful
and so wild ,
so gentle and so free .
Loves like a flower ,
it grows in the world
for everyone to see.

A poem as fragrant as a rose. Much enjoyed, Paul.

A wonderful allegory poem sharing the resemblance of a rose to love. Both fragile yet wonderful when at their prime.
