Woman, understand—once and for all!
I am the rock and the cornerstone of this castle.
That upon my shoulders rests the weight
Of the structure in which our family
Finds shelter, safety, and security.
But woman, you must also understand
Without a doubt—that you are the sediment
Upon which the rock is anchored.
The sediment that gives the rock the stability
Necessary to remain firm and steadfast,
Without faltering, or slipping out of place.
If the sediment shifts, the rock will lose it footing
It will tremble and even roll out of place,
If the sediment sinks, the rock will sink as well,
Then the structure of the family will crumble
And the walls of the castle will collapse.
As long as the sediment does not sink,
Does not wash away, or shifts out of place,
The rock will have a steady footing
Necessary to support the walls of the castle,
and maintain the pillars of the family structure.
You see woman, without you or your support,
This rock would be just a rolling stone,
Wasting away with the passage of time,
Slowly becoming nothing but dust.
