Sure enough, you own some rule,

The law you know, that isn’t revealed.

No time to lose! You see yourselves:

With our lives, you aren’t pleased.

We’ve overlooked the sacred thing,

The thought we got before our lives:

How simple is the worldly being.

For our birth we boldly strive.

But the sound of our whining

Makes us skip that thought entirely.

That indolence will wipe us out,

We came into the world blindly.

And when that vagueness starts up,

Some other energy stirs the heart,

And in the field of our smashed souls

A hero shares a pauper’s part.
