Think before you speak for words can really hurt and wound a heart...
Your Words
July 9 2015
Your tone, your words
Can slice me deep
Can hurt me bad
Can make me bleed
Before you speak
The words that slice
That wound a heart
Think once, think twice
And only then
Let those words fly
But only if
My heart won't cry
And if those words
Are sharp and sting
Then put them down
Do not swing
I do not wish
To bleed, to cry
And this one wish
You can't deny
For our love
Is strong and real
That shouldn't hurt
But only heal
