Creation edges you’ve fingered
along the way; witnessed Orion’s Belt
begin its debut as pearly stars debris

You experience time as osmotic
moments in eternal loops; never
separate linking like my day-to-day

Memories like programmed chips
resurface for learning value
no lips for words to ever say

We are to you as blips of light
in Moon shadow tinted
across eons of infinite nuclei

Having never touched Earth -
you scrape along the Rings of Saturn
with sad familiarity when even you,
reluctantly, die
