Interesting format and rhythm to these couplets, Carolyn. Almost like haiku in sense. For me, that line "Facelift carved to the bone" says it all. Gaunt and ghoulish she has been - and totally without mercy. A compassionate write for all those who have suffered at her hands. Bless you, Kate xx
