Poor retention prevention. |

Keep plugging, keep plugging Create while you can. Work harder, work harder. Develop a plan.
Keep pads on your bedstand, And sharp pencils too. You never can guess when Great thoughts come to you.
Ten decades ago when Thoughts entered my brain, I found inspiration Arrive and remain.
But now that I'm older, My memory's gone. I no longer store thoughts From evening till dawn.
They're now fleeting shadows That enter, then leave. They're no longer easy To quickly retrieve.
My mind lacks the spring of A stainless steel trap. That holds onto new thoughts Throughout my nap.
Alas when I wake up My best thoughts have fled. They're no longer sitting Intact in my head.
My one resolution I now try to keep Is to jot down my thoughts While I'm still asleep.

Be safe,
Karen
I think you've found the answer! Do you talk in your sleep? How about a tape recorder? Thanks for the laugh and you did make me laugh.
