Woman Unseen( Easy Lay II )

Rushing me,
pushing me;
Hoping that I will be
an easy lay.
Men are quite often the ofay!
Yes, men are quite often the ofay!
For every word that I say
they are not tryin' to hear no delay.
No matter what they rant and rave
I refuse to obey
For I am not an easy lay.

I'm a woman with an invisible name
I yearn to be known,
but my identity they still claim.
The cycle remains the same
for a face and frame
must not have worth.
Yet my soul's eyes
see there's more to my birth.
I struggle to save my fate,
it's me against me.
Only I will carry the hate
if I choose to be his pleasurable bait.
Just something he devoured and ate
No! I am woman, I say
For I know my soul carries much more weight
than I, an easy lay.

All I want is his love and understanding
Why are some men so uncaring?
If only he persevered and stayed
he could have gladly been laid.
In order to make him stay
a sistah has to be an easy lay.
Well f*** you son!
I told you that's not my way.
