Paul Revere made his ride at midnight,
warning colonists there'd soon be a fight.
"The British are coming!" cried he.
"O say, can't you see?"
and contiued riding til dawn's early light
Ben Franklin's wife told him to go fly a kite.
He said to her, "I think I just might!"
He tied a key to its tail
and let the thing sail;
it had an electrifying flight.
