*Candles I Cannot See* *I stand gazing up at the smallest star I see* *A candle flickers in a faraway window* *At least that is how it looks to me from below* *Here where I feel so foreign: is that home for me* *Up there somewhere another world another place* *Another time? Or am I outside time and space?* *Alienation is what I feel: strange and small* *I find everything to be alien to me* *But it is probably only me after all* *Searching the windows for candles I cannot see* *+Steven Curtis Lance* *Copyright MMV Silke LLC*

I enjoyed this piece because I often feel the same. I sometimes feel as if I'm in the wrong place. A place that has no meaning for me, and no future that I want. Good piece and well written.

The picture is very interesting as your poem is. But honestly if that was my head the candles would set my hair on fire. But it is good to look for the candles.
