Poem Artwork

Moon that walks a silent sky,

           peering through the endless stars,

in a swift and lonely plight,

searching for an end to Night.

Sorrow has no place to hide,

falling like soft tears of rain,

blanketing the furrowed grove,

           on an endless, shadowed road.

No one knows where Time may lead,

for each bend can turn away,

but, the Heart will always hope,

for its Love to never stray.

Your words always seem to "grab me by the soul," Cela. The typo with "it's" in the last verse threw me off a little. I'm pretty sure that you mean to write "its" which is the possessive. Thank you for sharing your creative spirit. Love and best wishes,

Regis
