Somnolence of sunset...in horizons gray,
faintest sighs of ecstasy, soon to fade away,
Lingering of moonlight, in a swollen sky,
melting into emptiness, on this woeful day.
Phantom footsteps travel, down a narrow path,
as the forest darkens, hope becomes the past.
Images are muddled, memories restrained,
rather dwell in twilight, than to feel the pain...
As the heart is scattered, like the falling leaves,
rustling into dusty shreds, in a shrouded sea.
Endless voices whispered, that the Hour would end,
but the dreamer never knows...this was all pretend.
