suddenly word circumcision pops up in my email, turns out - a new poem. well, i've always been careful with these 'heavy' narrow meaning words, but this piece is ravishing for its wonderfully handy way of tricking the word into building feelings of suspense and completion simultaniously, still keeping its heavy weight.
why do i stress my opinion on the words employability? it is a motionless word, too fragrant and expressive as it is, with its connotations & accompanying sensations, symbolism of diverse kind, taboos, etc. overused, even; but this poem, with masterful word-puzzling makes a sensational journey, that of a being - could be man or woman, the narrator/protagonist; i'm telling by the fact that circumcision is used on both sexes.
rest of the words used here - also imaginative for their original qualities, keeping in balance with connotations of 'circumcised/cision. so, without excessive manipulation, but tasteful approach to words' magical powers each one of them hold, you have created a piece of poetry that possess the indistructable force of all these words put together, making them tell a story; sing & whisper & cry, keeping absolutely silent in motion & still.
proves a monument can be of few words (unlike this review of admiring appraisal, after being slightly conflicted; only literary analysis could help)
