Feed Me, O Lord!

I am reminded during this Wonderful Season that our paths are not always through 'happy' places. God often leads us through 'caves'. And though, particularly at this time of the year, this may seem to be a negative thing... it is not. For no matter the reason we are there, it is in 'caves' that we are Fed(revived, encouraged, taught)and we learn how to persevere in the midst of adversity. Are you in a Cave? Dine well and...persevere! Bless you. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Poem Artwork

Feed me, O Lord...here

in this cave of affliction

while the winds of life blow...fierce

howling in every direction

Teach me to trust Thee...sate

albeit, the waves...stampede

nourish me with hope galore

let morsels of Faith strengthen, indeed

Then, enlightened that my wars be Yours

I'll fly o'er the battle ground

resisting the urge for 'badge of credit'

with destination sure and vision sound

Open wide my closed eyes to see 'You'

in this place of...wisdom reaching

Feed me, O Lord...here

with me...ever...leasing

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

                                 TO YOU!

Ps 121:5, 119:71

I am sure the season will be a blessing for you because of the Light and Truth that dwells in you, and the wisdom and eyes He gives to His own to understand all we see from a better perspective. Enjoyed the read JMS B. All the best to you and yours. Regards. rlc

...with vision sure and destination sound
Open wide my close eyes. A plead unto the Father indeed.
He will hear you, Joyce.

Oh, yes! Those winds sure are howling but I am O.K. in His cave that is stronger than all that mess out there. Merry Christmas!!

Love ya!
