What a Promised Season we are in! It differs from other seasons in that… in ‘This Season’ across the entire earth unknown hearts are drawn together, even if but for a moment, in remembrance of God’s Ultimate Gift of Love to the world…the Miraculous Birth of His Son! Shall we not Joy in this…His Season? Blesu, Press on!
It is very hard for me to relate to the expectation of the Christmas story. It is so much easier for most to accept that it is time when one does not have to go to school or work, long enough so that one can take the time returned to family and friends for remembrance. Also what time in northern climes where pagan rituals carried out the Winter Solstice are incorporated into outdoor and indoor natural festivities.
Oh, and by the way, stop by the church a couple of times and pray for the story of the baby Jesus.
I always rejoice when His season finally arrives, especially in trying times, we need the hope and the light of Christ in our lives.
