Well, my cat's penchant for gourmet meals caught in the backyard now extends to his "breakfast" habits!

My cat Sam enjoys his feast
Feeding on the flighty beasts
His favorite morning outside snack
He catches them in our yard out back.

In pre-dawn dark he sees them fly
The small white moths they catch his eye
He leaps into the air and grabs
The ghostly morsel he easily nabs.

Four or five seems to be his fill
Like taking a daily vitamin pill.
Some start their day with a bowl of cereal,
My cat Sam prefers “Moth Imperial” ! *

*a cat gourmet delight similar to crab imperial
for we humans…haha
