Music often reminds us of who we are, in this small universe of time lost but never gone. You know that little natural sphere you hold on to and call it your life. The older we get we are supposed to put aside the petty emotions of the heart and embrace the greater conquest of our days but we can’t, we don’t because we are in love with the feeling of being loved I am old man full of self-pride and failing eye sight, ball spot and so much more still I believe that the world is my ouster and I it’s clam. And in my need to see more than what is truly within my grip I fall victim to all my needs. We all have at some time or another, felt that youthful smile from a young lady, full of life, full of passion that hides, she notices us, and spends a moment to open all those thoughts we share in silent nights of memories we thought we still had. And disappointment sets in when I’ll be back, becomes a night of waiting, and that call to say no worries tomorrow is another day. So you pull down the shades and cover up try and forget about that day. Music does remind us of those long farewells and that kiss that meant that in the morning I’ll smell your hair. Your disappointment runs its course once again, that ball spot and gray hair lets me down once again. when my heart misunderstood those that dance to youths undying tune, not that they don’t care they just see it different than me the old man in the reclining chair….
