Written after hearing of President Bush's threat of war.

Our leaders rush toward death and decay
with the obsession for war in their hearts;
Do they even stop to hear what the people say?
Their evil can't wait, their power puffed up,
they rush toward judgement day.
Do they realize the consequences of their actions?
Do they know where they lead themselves?
Do they have any idea, it's their death in the end,
they think they'll be the victors - their lies they defend.
Fools, desperate fools...hiding behind the masks
they display, to try to keep peace within their
own quaking souls - somewhere inside, they
know they can't hide...from the Truth
of the Lord; His time is so near to hand.
But most are not watching, no attention do they pay
to the signs all around us, sheep are led to the day
that their leaders have promised will end all
the fear in their hearts - but they have no intention
of telling the people; they forgot to mention
it is only their greed and self-proclaimed glory
that they wish to feed.
The death of the people means nothing to those
who distort and disfigure God's truth...
They will pay with their souls; forget they have gold...
it will do nothing when Christ takes His stand;
and the meek among His children will inherit
this glorious land; and Eden once again, will stand strong.
