Poem Artwork

Walk with me sweet child of mine,
and in my kingdom you shall play;
You'll stand beside my eternal son
as His witness to Judgement Day.
You'll walk the streets of this earthly home
protected by His Holy Ghost...
You'll be given all the things you need -
and the gifts that you've wanted most.
I'll shower you with riches
of the soul, sweet honey wine,
I'll show you how the rainbow's made;
surround you with angels as you travel through time...
I'll bless you with the gift of Love
and Wisdom shall be placed in your heart,
I'll give to you directly from my stores,
where you'll never, ever see dark.
I'll cover you with forgiveness,
you are mortal and will sometimes fall;
You could never displease me my righteous child,
your Faith in me will help you stand tall.
And when your world gets hard to bear,
and the sorrow just runs too deep -
I'll hold you up in the palm of my hand
and wipe away the tears that you weep.
I'll replace them with the joy of my Son's blessed
spirit and unconditional Host -
and the hurt inside will be easier to bear,
He'll help you carry your heavy load.
So carry a joyful countenance my child,
and your cross will be easier to hold...
And I'll shine on you, as the sun will too,
wherever in this world you may go.
