My Prayer For Thee

You are the light within my heaven,
the wings on which I fly.
You are the sun that sits in my daytime -
within the aqua blue depths of my sky.

You are the heart that sings to my heart...
a silent and sorrowful song,
You don’t wish to ever feel love again...
and don’t want to need anyone.

You are the vision for which my heart has searched,
you are the garden in my heart, filled with sea and with earth.
You are the celestial music that fills up my soul...
both pieces together create one complete whole.

Looking up to the sky, in the nighttime of day,
I wish I could kiss all your heartache away.
Looking up to the sky, a breath blows - love gently flies free,
on the wings of angels, I offer up my prayer for thee.
