I can say that I don't miss you...
But that would be a lie...
My life is void of meaning
When all I do is cry.
When your memory stands to greet me...
And tickle thoughts that dwell
I say that I don't miss you...
But I know I'll go to hell
For to lie to self is silly
It harbors vacancies
Left alone...so willy nilly
No smile of consistency
I say I can forget you...
But to think this is to lie...
It goes with "I don't miss you"..
And punctuated sighs
I can live and breath without you
Think I can...but know the worse
Is trying to forget you
Its like an evil curse
So I think I'll try to keep you
Regardless of this pain
For to lie to me is senseless
And repeats this inane bain
So I miss you don't you get it
And I long to have you back
I miss you "dayum it", miss you
That's a tolerated fact!
Sad to say I know about missing someone. and I have allways been the one who was left to try not to lie to myself. I'll admit, I faltered at times. I'm still faltering. So many descriptive phrases that invite my memories. excellent write. Pierre.
Love your honesty and passion. . .how down to earth you are!

Every rose has its thorn and every toilet has its flusher. My Desert Fox Grid tarot card illustrates how to separate the spiritual dung from the dung to get rid of. methinks we're in a similar mood tonight Sis!;-) This is another of your skilled pens that squeezes all the juice out of orange leaving the mush and skin behind...Excellent!
Oh Susan ...
What an emotion in this one, and the rhyhmn is superb. You are so bloody talented! The picture killed me.
Don't fret, just make a path for yourself and stand strong. I have memories like this poem reflects, they hurt alot sometimes, but they sure feed the creative fires. And look what comes out of it.
