This is the 3rd in a series of Fractured Fables I've recently written about old nursery rhymes.

FRACTURED FABLES #3 - LITTLE RED

Nearly every day Little Red
would come ridin through the hood.
She was headin to Grandma’s,
two streets over on Alabama,
at least that’s what we all understood.

She was bundled up in a hoody
and wore a baggy ol sweat suit.
She looked quite frumpy,
and a tad bit grumpy,
if you really want to know the truth.

But underneath it all,
she wore a mini skirt.
When she took off the hoody
it caused a huge woody
and my eyes got so big that they hurt.

She said, “What big eyes you have!”
I said, “You’re lookin in the wrong direction.”
She began to sing
“If you plan on using that thing
I hope you have super sized protection.”

Well, it didn’t take long
for one thing to lead to another.
I had no protection
promised her I had no infection,
and from then on she became my lover.
