Have a great holiday and drive safely! Rudolf and the deer will appreciate it.
Most of the time it's the deers fault but we should learn to drive a litte safer.

Poem Artwork

You people need to quit
running over the deer.
Can't you better steer?
Some of you drive to fast anyway,
you'll kill yourself one day.
It's the Christmas holiday season,
can't you be more careful
for this reason?

Tis the season to be jolly,
but most of you act folly.
Don't drink alcohol and drive,
maybe you and the deer will survive.
One life is worth saving,
so rid yourself of this stupid craving.

The holiday will be more merry,
if you slow down and not hurry.
The deer will appreciate,
if you do more to safely initiate.
Rudolf the red nose reindeer
had a little shinny nose,
it will shine brighter if
all you drivers slows.

Drunk driving is a terrible problem alright, but is it documented that it causes accidents where deer are killed? In Coalcracker Country in PA, the problem is that deer jump out in front of cars, not so much as in the past because the deer herds have been depleted by the Game Commission's recent policies of allowing too much hunting.
A friend, a middle-aged non-drinker as far as I know, had to have her face rebuilt after a deer suddenly crashed through her windshield and out the back. The deer died, too.
Just so you know, sometimes Rudolph is at fault, too.

Couldn't agree more, G - I've sadly seen lots of run over deer around here lately. Everyone's in such a damned hurry - to get nowhere these days.
