I've had enough in relation,
bring on the new years celebration.
At least I get to dance,
enjoy a little romance.
Thank God for the Christmas holiday,
but thank God it's almost gone away.

I said my prayers of thanks,
emptied most of my accounts at banks.
I was doing all the giving,
might as well forget recieving.
Talking about a disfunctional family,
this occurs almost annually.

I give a hoot,
or I'd use the boot.
Christmas is about loving and forgiving,
somehow going on living.
Sometimes life isn't so pleasant,
being able to forgive,
has been my best present.
