For sure, it's going to be a celebration, but it needs some calibration. Just how much, don't want to get out of touch. Then again why not overdo, we only have once a year to.
Lets see, let me think, I don't drink. So there'll be no DWI, but other variables do apply. Especially spending too much, maybe overdoing such.
I hate for new years to be a bore, so I'd better find a dance floor. My legs are strong, but my wife can't dance too long. So much for this calibration, I'm just glad to be alive for another new year celebration.

You and me both...I don't drink, love music, but my husband don't dance much...so we'll probably have a quiet celebration consisting of movies at home on the couch, popcorn, pizza, and maybe something sweet, but I will have to hide my laptop...or I will be tempted to log in and check out the den....we will probably watch the ball drop in time square on the television...I better stop now, may be more excitement than one can take at one time...ha,ha...NOT! But the great thing is we've lived through another year, healthy, and ALIVE! Enjoyed your write...caused me to start planning for Sunday Night...

I am with you, Grady. I prefer to stay home and out of harm's way. I don't drink either, never liked the taste of alcohol. It can be crazy on New Year's Eve, people partying way too hard and not acting responsible. I prefer to be at home and hope none of my neighbors start shooting guns off at Midnight. Happy New Year!

with family, if I get skunked I am there
