After Hera zapped Cupid and Penus rendered him stupid, Cupid went to Zeus with his dilemma. Zeus gave him more power to protect himself over lesser gods.

Humanoids soon discover,
that Cupid and love quickly recover.
Humans have no effect over Cupid,
only the gods can render him stupid.
Hera zapped Cupid out of the sky,
for awhile love passed humans by.

But Cupid is back in operation,
also earths loving relation.
Cupid called on Zeus,
to help end all the godly abuse.
Zeus understood his request,
then told him he'd do his best.
He gave cupid more power,
rendering lesser gods abuse sour.
Especially Penus the love fool,
who always had a sexual drool.

Cupid left Zeus flying fast,
Hera again tried to hit him with a blast.
It had no effect at all,
Cupid didn't even fall.
Cupid then knew he was hooked up,
he had power over lesser gods corrupt.
Penus was in for a surprise,
one he would certainly despise.
