In the Mogadishu war, women and children are killed, wounded and displaced.
All banks and markets have been closed and people who used to have some money are now dying from starvation as they have no where to go to get their money.
NB> Safina is "boat". In all divine books you see Noah's Safina
The displaced family
Sitting under a tree
The dying children
Taking last breath
The bleeding eyes
Exuding blood tears
The weeping hearts
The aching spirits
These are the images
Of Today's Mogadishu
I either need a safina
To escape the fighting
Or a heart to face the war
Without these two options
I need a miracle to survive

You should be writing for the international press! Absi Noor ,you have me in tears. I can only keep praying and hoping there will be help soon.Stay stong and keep the faith as you have been doing!May you all be covered with His protection!
Abdi-Noor, I cannot truly imagine the horrors that you witness daily. Your strength is steadfast, your heart is strong. You and those like you are Somalia's miracle. You and yours are constantly in my prayers.
Abdinoor, this is very painful. You have the heart to remember love in the middle of the rubble. Please never give up hope. Menawhile, always remember that the Safina itself can be dangerous some times. May I remind you of your friend Yamyam, the great Somali poet who lived in Mogadishu until 2005. He got a Safina for safety and it landed him in Ohio, USA where he died in a car crash within two months of his arrival.
Oh God of Happiness
Replace our unhappiness
With an everlasting happiness.
I will pray for that miracle, Abdi-Noor, and that peace comes to your troubled country very soon. To speak honestly, I have no idea what it must be like to be going through what you, your family and countrymen are, every moment of every day; I believe it is impossible to imagine the fear of being trapped in such a situation if you have never lived through it. I pray for safety for you, your family and for all of the people of Somalia. Thank you for your kind words, Abdi-Noor, though I feel unworthy of them, as I spend my days in a world that does not face your same realities.
Take care,
Sherry
