Bono and K'naan (also Keynaan)are currently involved in a huge campaign of waking up the world to the famine disaster in Somalia where a child dies in every 8 minutes and hospitals are running out of food and medical supplies while the meager aid supplies that had trickled down are blocked by extremists of Al-shabaab. Situation is further aggravated by the indifference of the so-called government to the plight of their own people. The world media is now shifting to London and falling stock exchanges in the West but the voice of these two superstars far outweighs these two events which are these days grabbing extensive media coverage. In their last interview with CNN´s Anderson Cooper who is now deployed in Mogadishu, Somalia, Bono mentioned that it is not the money exchange which is falling but it is the the human value which is tumbling considering the the scale of the disaster in regard to the slow response from the international community.
