Looking out at the lake through my window screen
Mulling over that wondrous dream
Of you loving me in so many ways
And thinking perhaps I had betrayed
The absolute trust that you gave me

Still mesmerized by your spell
Paralyzed and confused
My mind filled with so much junk and refuse
I hate that you left without even a goodbye
