Spin a web of conceit
Round two woman
That was your defeat
You say you are clever

Figuring out which lever
You used to pry

A door to our souls
Leaving lust no place to hide
We needed your love
Not worthless illusions
But somehow all you did
Was feed our delusions
Sometimes you blamed her
Sometimes it was me
Praying our diaries would never confer
Day and night you drove us insane
Loving us and not
Always crying out your name
So now like two little girls we are broken
Knowing the sad truth
That it wasn’t love that was spoken
But his need to be loved
By two fabulous women
Adopted sisters who looked up above
They stand straight and tall
Completing the triad
From Africa
To Germany
To America

The Triads are a wicked gang of cutthroats in the Far East. Supposedly they have made inroads into California Asian communities, and we had a touch of them here because of our large Asian community.
