And now we apart are like lost doves searching for their hearts listening for the pattern despite the wind reminding them of the coldness of alone only finding inadequate shelter we haven’t found our way back home And now we must face That I alone know that you care for me And though your name has been written on my body I love you differently because of the love I’ve shared with someone else And now we both know how to love with only half our hearts always expecting the other to give more only giving the part of love we think the other deserves only damages the soul And now we apart are like lost doves searching for their hearts listening for the pattern despite the wind reminding them of the coldness of alone only finding inadequate shelter we haven’t found our way back home
