Many people look all the wrong places for fulfillment when they are young. Sadly some never find it.
I often think about the many friends that I've had:
Many were considered good but most were bad.
We searched for happiness in a world of misery,
All we got for our work was pain, hate, and agony.
We were searching for something real and new
Dreams of tomorrow were all that seemed true .
We were searching for you God, But we didn't know it.
We were searching for you, but we couldn't show it.
I opened myself up You came down and seized me.
I thought I'd handle myself, now on you I'll lean.
Many of my friends have passed through without you.
Some say they believed in You, I hope this is true .
But many have died. I'm sure they went to the pit of hell
Weather or not my friends believed was so hard to tell
We put our faith in a bottle, a relationship, or a bag
We longed for contentment but continued empty and sad.
We were searching for you God, But we didn't know it.
We were searching for you, but we didn't show it.
I submitted my burdens You came and grabbed me.
I thought I'd handle myself, now on you I will lean.
Life is eminently short, but it is not all that we have
Set your eyes upon eternity and you can be glad.
It is God alone who can heal your mind and spirit,
To often we simply refuse and say, "I will not hear it."
The higher you go into the hills, the deeper the secrets...
A seemingly innocent piece of mail shatters the illusion of Beverly Hills luxury, forcing a terrifying statement from a powerful action movie mogul: "they can't kill us fast enough."
"The Great Teen Fruit War, A 1960 Novel" involves conflict between the Blues (sons of blueberry farmers) and the Reds (sons of peach growers) in a southern New Jersey agricultural community.
