Are You Ready?

When the saints go marching in,
and they are joined by sin-free men,
will you be among those call then?
Did you pass, finish, life's trials?
Were you meak, spread like a peacock?
Are you ready?  Holding steady?
Do you spread His news while doing good
or steathly prowl your neighborhood?
No one knows when Christ is coming.
Keep your faith and hold on, steady.

When righteous battle has begun,
will you be there beside His Son?
Will He still find you free of sin?
When illness, age, strike you ... ravish
will you return to a savage?
Are you ready?  Pray so ... daily.
Do you clean-up, help rebuild faith
when times, weather, begins to grate?
Evil brought turmoil to this earth;
soon battles will ring earthly girth.

When Christ sits on His earthly throne,
will we be in His precious zone?
Stand with evil?  You're not alone.
Will your life be everlasting?
You're forgiven just by asking.
Are you ready?  Holding steady?
My priority is God first!
His righteousness has quenched my thirst!
Baptized by blood and water,
I pray the Lord I won't falter.

Are you ready?  Pray so ... daily.
