I love a good show of fireworks the ooooos and the aaaahs are quirks that the human race doth find cheers the face when misery like smog quietly lurks
So I hope Y'all had a beaut time letting hair down amid smoke and grime :) We did already our Australia day our Coathanger is always the way to celebrate, freedom, joy so sublime
God bless you all
Hope you like the pic of our Harbour bridge ( i.e Coathanger as it is affectionately known, next to our famous Opera House. I will be looking for pics around the den xxxxx Ch'erie

Loved it! I so appreciate the limerick style, and I do love the form. Rhyming I feel is an art that has begun to be overlooked. I do so love to rhyme ;) Job well done on this piece. I enjoyed it much.
Busy month :-) Canada has her birthday on July 1 so I often celebrate a lot in this month LOL.
You are also a country that celebrates my birthday with Children's Day............Maybe this is why I stay young :-)

Lol at Andy, I was going to go down the 'old colonials sticking together route' but best not lol...'cept to say this is a fair dinkum of a write Ch'erie wouldn't expect anything less from Aussie humor, and thats a beaut pic too.
Sydney has some of the most incredible firework displays I've ever seen...from far away, of course, y'all put on quite the show for the Olympics. I love, love, loved that. :) Thank you for stopping by, Ch'erie, on our Independence Day, and for your good wishes in spectacular fashion. :) Well done!
The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
