It didn't pay to Mess with those darn Tudors...

Ode To Sir John Perrot Born of Majesty and ladyship unwed A stately fiery lad was he though for the Crown upon his head evermore denied would he be Reigning Queen of Sister half revered him to her breast yea he favoured twixt her staff Knighted Sir, soon hastened from his rest Opposing Faith kept he at bay till Reigning Queen did pass fortune changed with new Queen they say Earl O Munster, resided in Carew safe at last Tween Lord Deputy, Wife, mistresses fair history repeated it's usual bleets children born of many tis clear from wrong side of the sheets Though position not an easy task favoured he with Sister Queen Till arrogance mouthed a traitors fau paux condemned he to axe's glean.... Though sought she to pardon him a'fore the axe did fall enemies strong upon a whim seeped poison fatal, within Tower wall. Reputed Leader, deputation strong Success, yet misery heavy pon his wing his life divided tween right and wrong.. The man who wielded the biggest axe became king of a kingdom. All commonwealth citizens under the realm are inline for the throne.
Yes, indeed there was a time when anyone could be King, but he'd have to watch-out.
This is KB's area her family live in some mighty castle to this day.

Yes (Sigh) The lineage as I discover more and more all the time defy's reason!! I am glad of one thing, and that is that GGGRandfather cleared off out of Wales, to colonize in NZ..and they sure did, 17 kids later,one kidnapped by indigenous ppls who wanted a piece of the pie, and now there are more of us than the crown could ever hope to eradicate.. I think that is hilarious, and love the Movie Phil Ward did called "River Queen" a convoluted tale of the facts.

But at the end of the day, those in the hot seat can have it, so long as I am assured of my seat at the banquet hall in the Heavenly Kingdom, that is all that matters to me. Earthlings put to much store by titles and grandeur, it's no good and you can't take it with you.

Descended from royalty, eh? Always knew you were special ... :) A wonderful read, my friend. I used to ask my Daddy if we were related to anyone famous, and he'd tell me, 'Your Uncle (his brother) Duke was a survivor of Bataan.' Case closed ... so I don't know if there are any stars in my familial history. *sigh* Be nice if there was, my luck, though, would be on the 'poor side'. Must be why I'm so rich NOT! LOL Well done, enjoyed reading this one.
