Poem Artwork

it's midnight
I should be asleep
it's midnight
but I've got questions running deep

tried closing my eyes
still can't sleep worth a damn
it's midnight
and I'm questioning who I am

I'm lonely
but I still want my space
feeling homely
but there's a smile on my face

so many mixed feelings
are sure to confuse
I'm lonley
but I still want to choose

it's midnight
I must try to sleep
another lonely midnight
and these questions running deep

the answers will come
maybe with the rising sun
but right now it's past midnight
and I still have no one

but I do have my smile
that's something to be proud of
I have high hopes all the while...
....may tonight's dreams be of love

rose

Don't ever let go of those hopes and dreams. Excellent expression.
