Computer Monsters

Remember when you where little,

And your mammy dried your eyes,

Saying “There’s no such thing as monsters”

Well! Your Mammy told you lies!

They live in your computer,

And if given half a chance.

They’ll muddle up your hard drive

As they open up your pants.

There are lots of different monsters

And although they’re all quite bad.

Some are worse than others,

And can nearly drive you mad.

The mega monster is Porno Add.

Who tempts you in to buy

But you can’t escape his web of sin

No matter how you try.

Then there’s E-Mail monster

Who finds your ISP

And sends you loads of junk mail

And credit cards for FREE!

The virus monster’s toxic,

It craves your bits and bites

It multiplies through e-mail

As well as unsafe sites.

Mama pop up monster ,

Plays havoc with your screen.

And all her little pop up pups,

Come bouncing in between.

Chat monster is a nuisance.

With her IMs, requests and such.

And cam show invitations,

To tits you’ll never touch.

So when you check for monsters

Don’t look beneath your bed.

Because all the really scary ones

Are on the Internet instead.

What sage advice and teaching gift-wrapped and delivered by just the click of a little mouse!! And, oh so true!! No wonder I am a technophobe... a vivaphobe, maybe...!! And, of course, once off the Internet and onto your screen, then they are REALLY in your head and, once there, there's just no way of getting rid of them.. AAAAAAHHH!! LOL Kate xx

Lady A and Gerry,

The virus protector to end all viruses--your outstanding words of wisdom! You have saved many computers and their owners aggrevation by warning them. Thank you--this will be in many libraries, I am sure, as it is going into mine to refer to again and again. BRAVA/BRAVO!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
